We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our team. This role will support our legal operations, focusing on contract administration, standard contract negotiations, document management, and providing exceptional service to the teams that depend on legal operations. The ideal candidate will have expertise in implementing and maintaining a modern contract management system and other essential legal operations tools and processes, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Special consideration will be given to candidates with experience in human resources functions, eDiscovery, or who have worked in IT service-provider, datacenter hosting, or software-as-a-service settings.

Essential Functions
- Legal Operations Support:
- Support the Chief Legal Officer in various legal and administrative tasks as needed
- Liaise with internal clients to develop expectations and ensure service excellence
- Analyze workflows for effectiveness and recommend improvements.
- Contract Administration:
- Manage and maintain the contract lifecycle, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal standards.
- Draft, review, and process contracts, including NDAs, service agreements, and vendor agreements.
- Contract Negotiation & Redlining:
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external parties to negotiate terms and conditions with prospects, existing clients, vendors, and contractors.
- Redline and revise contracts to reflect company interests while mitigating risks.
- Life Cycle Management Tools:
- Utilize contract lifecycle management (CLM) tools to track, organize, and archive documents.
- Ensure timely updates to contract records and maintain version control.
- Law Information Management:
- Organize and maintain legal resources, databases, and reference materials.
- Conduct legal research and provide summaries to support decision-making.
- Compliance & Documentation:
- Monitor changes in laws and regulations relevant to the company's operations and advise on necessary actions.
- Assist in the preparation of legal reports, summaries, and documentation.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a paralegal, legal assistant, or similar role.
- Bachelor's degree or Paralegal Certification is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of contract law and experience in contract lifecycle management.
- Proficiency with modern contract lifecycle management (CLM) and similar legal tools.
- Skilled in contract change-management and negotiations of standard terms.
- Law librarian or legal research experience preferred.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with HR legal documents, processes, and policies, including reviewing employment laws and legal requirements across multiple states preferred.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, as the situation requires
- High levels of ethics, integrity, professionalism, and self-assurance.
- Strong conflict resolution skills and ability to influence
